No. Inbound email, public request forms, and staff-created intake are all part of the planned launch workflow. Tintadot is designed to preserve the original request, create a reviewable RFQ, and carry confirmed information forward. Automated extraction can assist, but uncertain details still require staff review.
Published quote versions and sent proof versions are designed to be immutable. An approval targets the exact version the customer reviewed, with the actor and time recorded. If a newer proof supersedes an older one, the older approval request cannot silently approve the new content. That keeps production tied to explicit approval evidence instead of a generic 'approved' flag.
Tintadot is designed to derive readiness from explicit requirements rather than one vague status. Depending on the job, those requirements can include accepted commercial context, required payment, the exact approved proof and usable production file, physically verified goods, and complete production information. Ordered or in-transit garments do not count as physically ready goods.
A reorder creates a new transaction instead of reopening the old job. Prior artwork, production context, and history remain available as reference, while current pricing, requirements, and approval needs are evaluated again. Old customer approvals are not silently inherited into the new transaction.
The first release is focused on small US screen-printing and custom-apparel shops, typically around 2–10 staff, including smaller shops with meaningful recurring throughput. It is not intended to be a deep enterprise MRP, multi-plant planning suite, payroll system, or full accounting ledger.
Supplier catalog support is part of the launch scope, alongside manual/custom products and CSV catalog paths so quoting does not depend on one provider. Specific live supplier integrations will only be marketed as available after provider approval, real access, implementation, and production validation are complete.
The launch specification includes guided import workflows with mapping, preview, validation, row-level errors, and export of major business data. The goal is to reduce switching friction without inventing historical detail that the source data cannot prove. Final migration tooling will be validated during implementation.
